AlphaBet Soup Productions has been Chicagoland’s premiere Theatre for Young Audiences since 1987. The ABS mission is, and always has been, to provide Chicago area youth, families and teachers a truly unique theatrical experience that will entertain, educate and inspire.


AlphaBet Soup has been bringing their special brand of award-winning shows to the stage for over 30 seasons. Throughout the years, ABS has created and produced over 20 original musical-comedies for young audiences filled with larger-than-life characters, whimsical costumes, colorful sets and always an underlying moral to the story. With this imaginative recipe, AlphaBet Soup's zany creations have been enjoyed by over 1 million children, parents and educators throughout the Chicagoland area!

The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs

There are two sides to every story, and when the Big Bad Wolf takes the stand in Piggsylvania’s Trial of the Century, he finally gets his say! But whether he’ll get a fair trial in a corrupt piggy court is anyone’s guess. Enter the jury box and decide the fate of Big ‘n’ Bad in this musical adaptation of the hit children’s book.

Along the way, these four unlikely friends learn they must face their fears and work together to help Dorothy find her way home. Join us for this heartwarming original musical that reminds audiences of all ages that there's no place like home.

  • Each person attending the show (children, teachers, and chaperones) needs a ticket.

  • Tickets for groups (25+) are $8.50 each.

  • A 50% deposit is due to AlphaBet Soup Productions two weeks after booking your reservation. 

  • You may reduce the number of unpaid tickets (no more than 10% of the total number) prior to your final payment due date. Tickets may be added at any time, subject to availability.

  • Remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the performance.

  • Deposits and final payments are non-refundable.

  • Please notify us in advance if any special assistance, such as accessible seating, is needed.
