Julie is very excited to be playing Truvy in this production of Steel Magnolias. Many moons ago she played Shelby in D.I.Y/Mystery Shop”s production of Steel Magnolias. Some of Julie’s other favorite shows and roles have been The Women (Mary Haines), A Piece of My Heart (Sissy), two different productions of A Trip to Bountiful (Jessie Mae, Thelma), Bleacher Bums (Melody) and The Odd Couple. (Gwendolyn Pidgeon). She is also a voiceover , commercial, and film actor as well as an acting teacher, acting coach and theatre director for Children age 8-80! Much love to Joe and P.J. She would like to dedicate her performances to all the women of “steel” in her life, especially her mother and in memory of Kerri and Trish.
